Crashing ...

Could it be allergies?
But seriously ... I have a friend with the same problem in my parcel. Perhaps not as severe, but she can count on crashing within minutes of TPing to my land. And, like your friend, she doesn't have that problem elsewhere.
I know this isn't helpful, but at least you know your problem isn't unique!

Have her detach all attachments on her and try it. Or even as a defaulted (Ruthed) avatar.

Tell her to stop going into that sim.

Sorry - couldnt resist. There must be SOMETHING in your sim cuasing her problems, tell her to try a 64 draw distance, perhaps?

Had her already strip to ruth form and it didnt help. it is literally 15 seconds from comming into the sim when she crashes. We even tried just 1 step over the line and she was gone...also causes her to have to restart her computher and relog a few times before she can get back

Might want to have her or yourself open a support ticket. Or wait until after tomorrow and see if it continues. Tomorrow, they are going to do a rolling restart, which might help the issue. Might... I can't say for sure, as this has never happened to me or my friends before.

Has she a wireless internet connection ?
I have the same problem in some sims. With WiFi the internet connection gets lost and SL hangs; connected with a network cable i don't have that problem.

Two things I can thinkof;
1) There is somethign specific to that sim that her client can't handle. ie a high-rez texture, complicated script, etc, etc. I would only think this if her comp is on the low end scale for SL. Might also try her clearing her cashe out and logging in another sim to clear.
2) As stated above, a prople in routing from the grid where your sim is at to her ISP. Support may help, but this routing changes everytime the grid drops and comes back up, so if this is a factor it should change this comming Wed with the update. If it fixes then, I'd have your friend submit a Ticket on it just so LL is aware and may possibly fix a furture problem now (Hey! I can dream!).

There was similar issue such as this when First Look 1.15 was in session, documented somewhere in the First Look blogs. Apparently, some object would cause the client to crash when it was in field of view. It took a while to troubleshoot it, but at the end, a Linden was able to find the cause of the problem (it was sever side) and amend it.
