anyone know if there is a way to change the colors on the minimap ?
the self owned objects ( blue ) makes it really hard to see people ( green ) dots i'd like to change one of them so i dont have to keep trying to work out if thats a green dot or if my eyes are playing up lol

In \Program Files\Second Life\app_settings, edit colors.ini and colors.xml. Mine look like the below files. Remember each time there is new upgrade, the files are overwritten, so I keep them in a separate area to copy over.
colors.ini: version 101 // colors.ini // Use this file to provide your own custom colors for the // Second Life user interface. // // Copy lines here from colors_base.ini and modify them // to your heart's content. // // The colors are in the format: <red> <green> <blue> <alpha> // 0 0 0 255 = black, fully opaque // 255 255 255 255 = white, fully opaque // 0 0 0 128 = black, half transparent // // The file version must appear before any comments. // Comments must start at the beginning of a line. // Set tab stops to 4 for best alignment. // // Example: // Make avatar names bright green: // AvatarNameColor 0 255 0 255 NetMapYouOwnAboveWater 128 128 255 255 NetMapYouOwnBelowWater 128 128 255 255
colors.xml: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="yes"?> <settings version = "101"> <NetMapYouOwnAboveWater value="128, 128, 255, 255" /> <NetMapYouOwnBelowWater value="128, 128, 255, 255" /> </settings>
