Hi Guys,
I need a new laptop, and was looking at this Sony ....from this part of the spec is there anything negative to running SL ?
Processor : Intel Core Duo 2 T5500 1.66Ghz
RAM : 1024MB DDR2 SDRAM
HDD : 120GB Hard Drive (SATA)
Display : 15.4" WXGA Widescreen TFT Screen with X-black
Graphics : nVidia GeForce Go 7400 256MB Turbocache
At £799 from Digi-UK its £100 less than the SonyStyle shop so as long as it looks like it will run SL .. then seems the one I want!

Reasonable CPU I think. Good Graphics. Good HD. Good RAM .. more would be better but heck! I'm pleased with a gig in mine  |

thanks Bilbo ... just found it on Comet for the same £799 ...plus a free Lexmark printer... lol... not that i'm likely to ever use the printer, but hey its something more than Digi-UK offered. I agree with the RAM .. but can upgrade later if I really felt the need, I guess I was just checking that graphics card would be ok ... looks like I'd better find that damm credit card then....  |

Good luck Adec. I upgraded my ATI to another ATI without looking in here, then subsequently found nVidia is the bizz! LOL Edit: just look out for LE nVidia .. not quite the full bore card  |
