missing data?

bought something yesterday (cheap item) to see if it was safe yet an sure enough it took my money but failed to deliver the item . just posting this seeing there is no mention of this in the linden blogs . when i tryed rezzing the item i got a missing data on file error box come up . so i cleared cache relogged an then when i came back the item was just gone from my inventory .

When you say it failed to deliver the item, what exactly do you mean? Did you get an item in your inventory? I ask because you also say you attempted to rez the item and got an error. It sounds like the item was delivered but you couldn't rez it, and then lost it from your inventory. That is the bug that has plagued us for the last several weeks. Linden Lab claims to have fixed the problem, but I am still hearing reports that people are losing no-copy items.
