Do group land sales proccess on weekend?

Hi all,

I sold some land group owned land last Thursay night/ Friday morning. I know that it takes 24 hours for the sale to process and the moeny to show up in the group member accounts. I should say I thought that was the case, but clearly it isn't because the L$ are still sitting there in the group assets and no one in the group has gotten paid.

So, do these things only process on weekdays? Those L$'s are burning a hole in my pocket! I need to get'em so I can spend'em.

Usually once a day I would receive funds that are to be dispersed to the group, however, I too have a balance thats setting there and has not budged for a couple days. I will wait till tomorrow about 10amSLT before submitting a trouble ticket.

This is a bug that has been around for the last 6 months or so. I have reported it more times than should be necessary and unfortunately, nothing has been done so far. About once a week... sometimes more, sometimes less... the $$$ dont flow through to members for another day.(sometimes 2). Here is the official word from the Lindens on the issue. (Back from when live help was available).

1st response from a Linden: Thanks Alice, we are aware of the problem and it is being looked into.

2nd response (different linden) after 4 hours with still no money: Sorry Alice, this is the first we have heard of it. It NORMALLY goes through the next day. Wait till tomorrow and see if it is there.

3rd response from yet another Linden: There is nothing wrong with group payments, they go through next day.

I guess this is why they got rid of live help lol. Anyway...it would seem that the best thing to do is to just wait a day or two for someone to flick the switch and distribute the money between the group. APPARANTLY.. its not an automated process?

At the time, I asked these questions...

1. If it is a manual process... why is it a manual process? Surely a script could be written to distribute funds between a group.

2. If it is an Automated process... Why would the fault happen more than once. Surely 1 single report of this problem would be enough for The Lindens to look at it and find the bug. Especially considering the amount of money that is transferred between group sales each day.

3. Why is there a delay at all? Why is there not an Automated feature that when group money is received, it is distributed instantly? I cannot see a usable reason for the delay...unless our lindens are being played on the short term money market lmao.

Anyway... I didnt get an answer to any of the questions... maybe there just arent as many people waiting (up to 3 days) for their money to come through as I think there would be?

I was just checking in to see if anyone has posted on this thread. My group money did appear for myself and the other members of the group over the last few hours so someone must have thrown that switch. ).
