I almost spend all of my spare time on open source and second life, you can see my work via http://islab.org(i will try my best to update it), also i try my best to help others. but in these days i got a big billing problem. my credit card was charged about 1100 US dollars(the same as the last month) this month. From my billing history, i only purchased items with 1100 us dollars(i only have a 8096 sqm parcel of land). Apprently, the fee i paid this month is a mistake. I have submitted the ticket via the web, two days passed, still get nobody reply. Now i have paid the credit card penalty fees (20 us dollars), and also need to pay accrual fees everyday. i can't sleep for this issue, The billing staffs, please check my tickets and figure it out.

Ticket Num: 4051-4219273

Your opinions and helps welcome.

btw, my credit card provider has told me that my credit card was charged this month from second life.

Billing team at: toll-free (US/Canada) 800-294-1067 or long-distance (not free) 703-286-6277. They're available 9AM - 6PM PST, Monday - Friday

Try calling them and see if they can sort it out from there?

AND drop an IM on Zee Linden too, as Elex suggested ;)

A drastic measure to prevent it from happening next month; you could tell your credit card company to warn you of any impending charges from Linden Lab, or to reject them. That might backfire, though, when you really do want to put money into the system.

Worse case scenario, you can decline the charges to your credit card.

When your charges are reversed, it is up to LL to prove those charges are correct. This should eliminate the other charges by your credit card company.

If you only have 8096, then this is most certainly worth the effort.

Good Luck!

I love SL, too, but for an 1100 USD erroneous charge I'd damn sure be putting it into dispute with the credit card company. If you dispute the charge, you won't have to pay interest on it while the bank and LL sort it out.
