So SL tells me there is a non-essential, but highly recommended, update availabel for download. Since it comes so highly recmmended, I say yes. here's the update file:
Release Notes for Second Life 1.16.0(6) May 25, 2007 ===================================== Changes: * Updated Korean language files
That's it?
I wasted 50 megs of bandwidth to patch some language files in Korea? Someone please tell me they didn't have to label it as very important for just that.

That's just static/default text methinks. Any time they push out an optional update, no matter what it contains, you see that same message. If the update itself is of any significance, they usually blog about it.
