I signed up for a Premium Account, but I never got the 1300 bonus!

I signed up for Premium Quarterly, alright, everythings going good so far, my account didn't update it and it had 0L on it instead of the 1300 bonus. I log into Second life to check and it's not there. 30 Minutes later it is still not there, and on top of that they make it near impossible to get customer service, what should I do?

You should have just purchased your L$. It is cheaper than paying for premium.

You may not get the 1000L at all. The language used on the site is somewhat vague, but Lindens have told other Residents that it only kicks in if you immediately go Premium when you first sign up for your account, which is why it's called a 'signup bonus' rather than an 'upgrade bonus.' I assume the other 300L mentioned is referring to the stipend, but that only gets paid on Tuesdays and you may not get it either until you've been Premium for at least seven days. For example, if you signed up today, next Tuesday would only be four days, so you wouldn't be eligible until the NEXT stipend day. Not sure about that, though...seems to work that way for some and not others.

Last time I signed up I got it straight away.

LL changed the rules at about the same time they reduced the stipend from 500$L to 300$L.

Oh, shut up and quit the wiseass comments. With my first avatar, I got the signup bonus within seconds after going premium, as did a friend of mine. My alt, whom I made also premium, has so far not received it. Apparently they changed their practice inbetween and never told anyone.

You get your 'sign up' bonus after day 45 (I say 'after' because some have been known to be delayed a bit), you get a weekly stipend payable every Tuesday. Is it 1300, I thought the sign up bonus was just 1000 ?.

Perre, I guess he means the 250 L$ that they promise if you enter CC data during avatar creation. (Never got that one either...)

Ann, you get the 300 every tuesday, no matter how long it is after signup. With one ava, I got my first stipend one day after signing up.

for the sake of sanity, if you don't happen to get it after 45 days, you might want to consider adopting my attitude.

I've known people who had to wait the extra week...like I said, it seems inconsistent. *shrug*

I just walked an alt through the signup process and I swear I never got the chance to submit payment info as part of registration. Maybe I just missed it, but I was looking for it so I don't know how I could have. I had to go to the website, look at my account find the place to enter my payment info. If that is the norm now it is no wonder so many new people are No Payment Info On File, it was never presented as an option.

Did I miss something? If I did, and I was looking for it, how hard would it be for others? Also I say no mention of the old 250L$ bonus for giving payment info.

Nimue, you only get that bonus if you add the data during creation. (Well... if you actually get it... *snort*) There is a step, I think it is just after you choose your ava appearance, which you skip with "no thanks, I don't need a premium account right now". Tricky thing is to see that here you can only enter payment info and then skip premium.
