Everyone should check and be sure that the searches are working properly in their sim. After the announcement last night that they were fixed, they still did not work in my home sim. I waited and did all the normal maintenance items, cleared cache, etc. The same 3 searches are still failing.
I did a little more investigating with the help of a friend and we found that they are working in most places, but are failing in some sims. The problem seems to be at the sim level.
You should probably test to see if it works and bug report any sims where it is not working.
