How can a friend and I create an investment group to run our business, so that we can keep monies involved seperate from our personal accounts? Thanks in advacne for your help.

You can't.

All money is either held exclusively by an account, or is in temporary posession of a group. Group-held money is the result of selling land only (prim-bsed sales get split immediately). Money that is temporarily held in groups gets split between eligible members at the end of each week.

The only effective way to accomplish this is to create another account and use it as a "banker" account. Revenues from the business get paid into that account, and profits distributed back according to whatever arrangements you and your partner agree to. Such an arrangement relies heavily on trust however, so be cautious. I would seriously consider making this alt a premium account.

Thanks for the help. That's pretty much where we ended up at. Yeah it does take some trust, and I remain optomistic that trust betwen people can still be found in-world.
