Am i going crazy or did the allowed selling limits for a resident class "1" go up?

Im listed as a class one and i could have sworn the limit was only 3k. Infact, just 2 days ago it told me I have exceeded my trading limit and could not sell anymore. The small selling limit of only 3k was also why I kept bugging the lindens to move me to a class 2.

Today I log in and notice the level 1 resident is now allowed to sell 5k worth of lindens each month..this is the same as level 2 residents have always been able to sell.

And now, its letting me sell more lindens.

This is weird, yet good news. Did anyone else notice this? was there a blog entry I missed?
I would think this would be something worthy of an announcement, many people who had been requesting to be moved to level 2, and got no response from LL, can now sell their lindens as a level 1. Maybe it was easier for LL to change it for everyone instead of going through the mass requests of individual accounts?

The page that lists the levels and rates notes that Level 1 can sell US$5,000 worth of L$ and buy US$2,500. Not sure if this is new or not.

Sonia- I know that, it never usued to let level 1 residents sell more than 3k though. now, thankfully, we can sell 5k worth!!

Fd- haha.. I thought i was at first, but now im sure of it. I just went through old transactions and all I ever transferred into paypal was like 2.5K every month. which shows they DID raise the limits.

there is a god. lol

I'm just a buyer, not a seller, so . . . didn't pay attention before :)

How come i was never able to sell 5k then? Wtf. Once i hit 3k, i could NOT go over.

I tried to sell 2 days ago too.. it tells me ive exceeded trading limits. now suddenly today it says 5k and i can sell.

Could it of been just my account with that limit?

The limit has been 5000 for a while, dunno why you were limited to 3000.
