Land tier remains at the same rate. I.e. the next tier is for 98816sqm and fee is 292.50USD

From: Aaron Aldwych How is land tier calculated when your mainland holding goes over 65536? Above 1 sim, it goes up in half sim increments, at US$97.50 each.

As per stephen, the first repsonse was incorrect.
One query I dont know the answer to.
Lets assume I own 2 PI sims at the new tier rate and buy a 1/4 sim on the mainland. will the new rate be at a new 1/2 sim rate based on the new PI tier, or as currently US$97.50

No - you don't pay tier on Private Islands. The $295/month is considered an "island fee". In this case you would still be in the 1/4 sim tier and pay $75 tier, plus 2 island fees.

Yumi is correct. Island fees are completely separate from mainland tier.
