Can anyone help me? I'd like to put a certain texture on my land, i.e. grass or sand.
How can I do it? Many thanks, Violet

Click land, Select create pick object change the size max is 10 x 10 x10
select textures look for grass or moss, etc in your folders that pop up
Mainland the only way to change the ground is textured prims shapes.

Unfortunately, you cannot directly change the textures on your land. They are set at the region level, and if it's mainland, only Linden Lab can do it.. Private estate owners have the option of changing terrain textures on their islands as well..

So all you can do is what FD suggests - lay down 10x10 prims, textured how you want, over the actual terrain on your land. (keep an eye on your prim count)
