Since now i have faced many times to loose Internet connection for a while when having abnormal exit (crash) from SL client
Today i had twice the following
Loggout abnormally from SL (crash or whatever) and the laptop shut downs from this.
I am amazed!

since it happened again and again the last days, i comcluded that it was an overheat of the laptop and shutdown due to high tempareture (heated of SL ofcourse).

Your computer's CPU and heatsink may be clogged with dust.

You might want to buy a laptop cooler and some monitoring software to tell you if your system is too hot. Maybe take it to a professional for inspection and internal cleaning.  |
