Everytime when i log in last 3 days) i get the message 'clothes still downloading' and my avatar is completely misformed!
How can i resolve this problem?

The "Missformed" is known as "Ruthing". Ruth is the name given to the first SL avatar form which is the base of every avatar within SL. When data does not transfer correctly and update your shape, you will appear "Ruthed", as can others to you as well.
Fixes vary though clearing cache and relogging usually always fixes such. Since you've ahd the issue for three days, I would suggest submitting a Support Ticket on the matter.
You may also try going to a low-lag sim (like a Linden water sim) and relogging there. Be sure to clear out your cache prior to logging.

From: Kitty Barnett Relogging a number of times onto the exact same spot won't do any good if the problem happens to be on the sim's end. If it ever happens again, the best thing to do is to clear cache (Edit / Preferences, Network > Clear Cache) and have Preferences / General > Show Start Location checked. Log off, and under your name you'll notice you have a spot to type in a sim name to connect to directly (by default will either say "My Home" or "My Last Location"  . Type: Hahne and just log on as normal (Kara should be a good as well from memory). (Mostly the same thing Jessica said) If that doesn't help: (Ctrl-Alt-D or Ctrl-Alt-Shift-D for the Client/Server debug menus) Client / Character / Character Tests / Test (Fe)male That should turn you back into the default newbie avie (if it doesn't you may have to right-click the new folder under Clothing and pick "Replace outfit" and you can go back to your normal self from that. All of the above assumes that the problem is on SL's side rather than yours. If you're getting high packet loss, or an extremely slow connection (nothing around you would rez either, regardless of location) then the problem is more than likely on your end. |

Bearing in mind that I've been stuck like this for hours, and tried every trick I've learned over the past 15 months trying to fix it, I'm wondering whether it was caused by some settings conflict between the old and new client. I just deleted the settings folder (@ C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\SecondLife), logged in again, and voila, no more ruth. I can't believe it was that easy. Anyway, if the same happens to anybody else, there's a possible solution. Thanks for trying to assist me Calveen. I really appreciate it.  That's from a different thread. |

If none of this works, check your inventory folders.. if they show up as empty, then get a support ticket going.

One thing that's always helped me when "Ruthed" is to go into edit appearance, then exit out. That usually fixes the problem for me |
