For EIGHT weeks now, Ive been trying to get you to increase my trading limits. I have sent requests in faithfully every 5 days. I have called several times each week. I have emailed, tried Help Request, etc.

8 requests sent via the website,

at least 30 phone calls = No help (matter of fact Ive never had them return a call in the 8 months Ive been in SL.... heheh)

Help Request: Told me to call them, then abruptly disconnected . = No Help

Getting ahold of a concierge: Impossible lately = No Help

Writing in this forum would probably be predictable, so lets call this one = No Help

I gave up after the first sentence. Saved myself the headache. Yeah I know I'm not alone. Its gotten to where some of us cant even buy a mainland sim due to the auction levels going above the limits. Its totally absurd. I wouldnt pay that much for mainland, but hey, if i wanted to, I should have that option. I own 4 islands, and have had no issues paying for them ever, so I just dont understand this blatant disreguard they seem to have for their customers.....

I'm sorry to hear you're having such an experience. Obviously anyone who owns 4 islands has pumped alot of money into SL and should be entitled to better customer service than you're currently receiving.

From people I've talked to who've either gotten or not gotten limit requests, it seems almost random with no difference between us why one of us would get it and another one not.

I attempted to skim through that post but decided to skip it. I'm not usually one to nitpick about clarity, but my eyes are starting to bleed.

I REALLY have to send an appreciation card to my Phone company or something, i have had any trouble at all contacting LL either through the Phones, or the website. I keep hearing how hard it is to contact them but i have yet to experience it. Maybe you have to be Canadian?

Maybe you do I'm Canadian also and experienced quite an acceptable level of service myself.

Do you own a casino or do you gamble at all in SL? I have heard from people that LL stopped upping limits for those involved in markets of questionable legality as they are worried about the repercussions. I have a friend who owns a small store and her limit was raised about 5 days after she requested it about two weeks ago. If you are a shady cat, then I wouldn’t expect any limits being raised anytime soon. I have also heard that if you are not at least a year old, they are not even looking at requests anymore, but then again, my friend is only about 6 months into SL.

It is probably a combo of the risks that LL is trying to limit and the fact that they have been flooded with a good million or so noobs who are probably all requesting limit raises after a week in game, thus clogging up the whole request system.

Oh, and last thing. I give this forum a good two weeks before it is closed. It seems that noone uses the forum for what it is meant for “questions” and LL always jumps on any reason to close a forum. Who wants to wager on it? I give it two weeks.

If this is all true, they ought to say so somewhere.

And yes, discussion has been going on, both in this forum and in the Current Version Feedback (I believe Suezanne Baskerville asked what people thought about something there).

Looks like throwing a hissy fit works.. I finally gotr my limit raised. Three months, many, many requests, emails, unreturned calls and letters to the board of directors later.

No Casino, rarely gamble at all. I own 4 residential sims and have almost since i started in SL. As far as I know Im not a shady cat, although I strongly suspect LL is blowing smoke up some orifices with this 5 day crap....
