Hey all. I was testing out the group urls that show up in all search in local chat. When you click the url, the built in browser comes up. Thats all great and wonderful. But if I click the "View full profile" button I get "The URL you clicked cannot be opened from this web browser." What gives? Why doesn't the group window come up?

I don't know the answer to this. Evidently the Search All browser is subtly different from the other built-in "Media Browser".

This doesn't much help, but the "View Full Profile" button that you get from:

http://world.secondlife.com/group/d0f1fa9f-1a8b-8074-b111-a3fac92fea07

can be reached by:

secondlife:///app/group/d0f1fa9f-1a8b-8074-b111-a3fac92fea07/about

(substitute your group's key in the URL, obviously)

Thanks Qie, but that just opens a landmark style window. If I remove the /app does the same as well as if I remove everything but the secondlife:// uuid here :(

Sorry, was otherwise engaged so didn't see your posts until now. For more fun with similar URIs, see http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Viewer_URI_Name_Space.

None of which answers your original question. :(

A question to OP: Are you using Emerald? I've noticed the problem with it but was too lazy to switch to official viewer to confirm.

I expect it would happen on the standard viewer, too, because it does on Snowglobe (and CoolViewer).
