Try deleting your credit card info and re-entering it...for some reason that fixes a lot of problems, even if it was entered correctly to begin with.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |

I'm having the same thing happen to me.
Could it be the restrictions on how much can be bought over a period? Ive read about that but don't really understand it enough yet. Ill try the credit card reset ,thanks |

access https://secure-web7.secondlife.com/currency/describe-limits.php after logging in
under 'Resident Monthly Limits', you will be able to see your limits which is highlighted in purple try buying USD1 worth of L$ using LindeX to get the limits moving. "Days" in the New Resident limits description refers to days since first billing transaction with Linden Lab. _____________________

We are unable to complete your request. • The system encountered an error while processing your order, please try again. I have had the exact same problem for 1-2 weeks now. I have tried to re-enter the cc info twice to no help. I can use my cc to buy whatever I want from whereever I want elsewhere in the real world, just not Lindens! |

SL is a common target of credit card fraud, so many credit card (CC) companies have started putting tighter restrictions on the transactions they will allow. That means that your CC company may be rejecting the transactions even though (a) there's nothing wrong with your card, and (b) it's always worked before.
If your CC company rejects the charge from SL, you will probably get NO notice except for that error message that the payment didn't work. If this does happen, it is a choice by the CC company, and so is NOT something SL can resolve. How to find out if your problems are caused by your CC company? Call them! It is SO easy and fast! It usually takes about 5 minutes. The number should be on the back of your card, and is usually a free call. Things to ask: - Did you receive the charge request from Second Life or Linden Lab? - If you received the charge request, did you approve the transaction? - If you approved the transaction, do you know why SL/LL was not able to complete the transaction? - If you did not approve the transaction, why not? Is there anything I can do so that you allow these transactions? --- Many people here on the forums seem very reluctant to call their CC company about this, and I can't understand why. You can submit a support ticket to LL and wait days or weeks for a response, you can spend hours trying to call the LL billing department and never get an answer, OR you can spend FIVE MINUTES to get the answer from your CC company. And even if the problem isn't a CC company rejection, you will now have better information to give LL when you finally do get a hold of them -- because otherwise, they will probably just say the problem is with your credit card, and you are back to square one. _____________________
