I am think of starting a group to buy land. I would like to know who pays when you click buy land for group? I know that when a pice of group owned land is sold the proceeds are split between the group but how does the money thing work when buying? Thanks

I've done this before. You (the person pressing the 'buy land for group' button) pay.

As he said, the person clicking the button pays. If you all want to pitch in equally, send your money to one person and have him purchase the land and deed it to the group.

also now with the new groups options, you can specify who gets the money that comes into a group, be it land sales or paid in via an object.
