Lost my new Ccard. Had to cancel it and get a new one. Bu I have heard horror stories of people having to do this, and having their account here canceled. Now they may just be the few this had happened to, but has anyone had problems when they have had to cancel a Ccard and change their Ccrad info?

Just update cc # on file to a different cc or downgrade to regular account then update when you have a new card?

Actually I hear of more problems being *fixed* by updating/changing credit card info, then getting messed up by the process.
Though I certainly understand the worry. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" seems to have been a phrase invented especially for Second Life ^_^

Well it will be two weeks before I get the new one. This is a first for me never lost a Ccard before. Not much I can now buit hope no charges are made against my card here till I get the new one.

I can't believe the two weeks. I once had to get a new one, new number and everything, because of unexplained charges I had to cancel, and I got it within three days.
And you have to delete the cc info, you can't just change it anyway. I got a new card two weeks ago, just a regular renewal, and I couldn't just change expiry and cvc, I had to enter the whole thing again. No probs there.

Oh, and you are not responsible for any charges made on your card from the moment you report it lost/ stolen. If any go through after that point, the cc company are liable, as they should have blocked it. |
