Visa doesn't like Linden Labs much

Hmmm, I'm not used to having my transactions denied but Visa is very careful about accepting charges from Linden Labs. Twice they have denied charges because they suspected fraud. Both transactions were fine but it must make LL's billing dept think I'm a deadbeat. Welcome to the brave new world of internet commerce. I hope this doesn't lead to a new session of "Second Life Cannot be Accessed From this Computer".

Back to my trusty Mastercard which is used to my Second Life bless 'em.

ive been useing my visa for over a yr on sl buying lindens 2 times weekely an i just bought some today in matter fact maybe its diffrent banks that issue visa

Problems come from the country's bank... not the VISA. Certain countries do not allowed the local bank's VISA cardholder to make payment for gaming purposes

hehe. remember this thread (and all its clones)? not in the UK are you? some of us had an issue buying L$s because UK CC companies tend to require the exact cardholder name with the rest of the transaction details (this doesn't appear to be the norm in other countries) and for some reason, Linden Lab stopped asking for it when we enter new CC details.

People need to keep something in mind, Visa nor Mastercard directly issue credit cards, BANKS do. Chances are my Mastercards and Visas are not from the same banks as yours, and each bank has thier own rules regarding transactions.
