Sorry, I'm a Mac user so can't offer any direct advice except you might want to post this request under "Technical Issues" and browse that forum, especialy the skicky notes, to see if you can find any helpful ideas.

Have you tried calling LL or sending an e-mail to [email]support@lindenlab.com[/email] ? Try those things also. It does sound like a firewall issue but I am certainly no expert on this particular issue...or any really. Just very interested in all the issues folks are having. Updates are tough - but eventually, it does iron out.
