I noticed this post elsewhere today, and asked if I could crosspost it here. I edited some personal info out a bit (the original audience was more likely to know them personally), as indicated. The Metaverse Messenger is one of my favorite SL publications. From: Stroker Serpentine;36580 Many of you know Phoenix Psaltery and Sansarya Caligari. I spoke with P2 today and I am making this post on his behalf. [...] Lately, Phoenix and Sans' expenses have become strained. The Metaverse Messenger hasnt been as profitable of late as in the past, and is a primary income source for Phoenix. [...] My point is, their income is very limited and they are in a financial bind presently. I am reaching out to his friends for support here. If you can send a few $L or a kind word it would be appreciated. I know this is a temporary situation for them, and P2 will rebound in spades. We all have "rough spots" along the way. Friends help to smooth them out. Thank you for your attention.  |

Here is Phoenix's most recent posting to the forums, which may explain why the Metaverse Messenger website is down. I was unaware of this until just now - it never rains but it pours. /199/5f/221435/1.htmlM2 is also available at kiosks inworld. M2 is widely read. They do a nice job with it; Phoenix is constrained to work from his home, so takes his time and puts out a quality magazine. Check it out sometime! In searching for the website, I found their real-life clothing store, which is something more SL businesses could do! Some pretty cool tshirts, mugs, etc: http://www.cafepress.com/mmessengeredit: I posted this because MM is widely enough read that I thot there might be folks interested in the news; not to solicit from those who do not know the publication or people involved. As usual, if a thread does not interest you, just go on to the next |

Just wanted to thank you all for what you have done. At this point, we're close to the half way point in meeting the extra expenses we have.
I'm kind of overwhelmed at the generosity of my felow residents.
Thanks to all who have been so kind, and thanks in advance to those who may still help us out.
I definitely plan to "give back" to others who are in need when I am able.
