I'm curious...how many of us can stretch our SL experience all through the day? When I first logged on to SL it was at work, but within a couple days our IT locked it out. So now I'm limited to off-work hours. (I'm sad about that, but it's probably better for my career.)
How about you?

Most of my weekday Forum activity is from work. I keep it up and go in and out. In world is mainly from home, with an occasional log on during a free period at work.

Sometimes I idle my avatar to handle RL biz at the office. But usually such otherworldly distractions don't phase a nice sunny day walking through the virtual woods...

Forums from work. Secondlife from home.
Sadly, that means I'm on the forums more than secondlife.

so maybe the poll should have included Forum time as well... I'm like the others; spend more time in Forums these days than SL itself because of work.

I am on the forums entirely too much, whether from work or from home. In-world varies while at work, depending on whether I'm at my desk (I'll leave SL on the second monitor) or out and about.

All my time in SL if from home since I'm retired, but I'm beginning to spend more time in the forums and in RL than SL because it's become a not so pleasant experience.
A lot of the fun is gone because of all the broken parts that never seem to get fixed.

From: leliel Mirihi ha! i've been thinking about doing that just so i could play sl all day long. i guess it's time to brush up on my c++ They actually fired a receptionist for being on SL too much...they actually have people work there sometimes! I'm on the forums at work and SL at home. My employers want me to have the appearence of working...you can't pretend on SL! Besides, I wouldn't want to be in SL from work. I want to get out of here ASAP and move on.

I selected "Home Only", but I work at home and make my own hours. There are certainly times when I'm probably supposed to be working that I'm on SL, so maybe it's a bit of a grey area, but I finally decided that since I make my own hours I would answer "Home Only".

How about you? WTF It won't be too long before LL takes away this forum because of ridiculous postings such as this. So don't be complaining when you actually need real help from the residents and don't have a damn place to post because of abusing this forum.

I was able to load SL onto my work office PC…IT department privileges I guess, and since I have a door to my office (a window too… ) I was able to play some, but as the OP implied….its not really a career enhancement to SL all day at work (now I just do the Forums at work… ) DK

sorry, but this discussion isn't appropriate for Resident Answers and as such i have to close it.
bummer that, i know.. this thread reminds me of days gone by when we had somewhere to have fun threads.
as most of you know, there are plenty of 3rd party sites for all types of informal conversation.. i'd provide a link, but you know.. the forums don't allow links for now. (man, i miss those UBB codes, too!)
