Are there any hostels?

Are there any hostels where landless newbies can hang, meet, and learn from others who are traveling light? They're one of the best places to meet people in RL; I'd sure like to find them in SL.

Cheers
Jeff

Heh, that might not be a bad idea to start one. I wonder if I can get the land manager to let me set one up on Kula...

Try doing a search for The Shelter. That's a good place to go. Lots of new residents, older residents who (usually) go there specifically to help new residents, music, dancing, good conversation, and even freebies. If you're single, and open to such, you might even meet your future partner there. It could happen.

Thanks, I'll check 'em out!

Jesse, if you get something going, let me know and I'll be happy to pitch in some construction labor, if that's possible.

Dearly Darling,

The Shelter in Isabel and the Second Life Support Lotto in Arosa. If you like Country Heartland is wonderful too.

Ever Yours,

Mrs. Showdog Tiger
