Suppose I were to close my premium account. What happens to any land I have bought? If I sell it, will I be able to withdraw it as real money when I leave?

set up an account with slx, go to one of their terminals in SL and then just 'deposit' all the money in your slx account. From there you can sell your Ls at the current rate of exchange and withdraw the money through Paypal.

If I sell it, will I be able to withdraw it as real money when I leave? you need to sell all your land *before* downgrading to Basic. don't *close* your account if you intend to stay in SL otherwise you'll have to pay $10USD to reactivate it. just downgrade. if you sell your land, yes, you can convert the Lindens to real US dollars and cash them out via Paypal. you don't have to do that via SLX by the way. LL will send the money to Paypal for you after deducting a transaction fee. it's up to you how you cash out. =)

if you use Lindex and LL to cash out and transfer money to paypal it does take over 10 days!
SlExchange.com it takes about a hour to hit your paypal account.
