Ever since 3 days ago my music stopped playing and I haven't been able to hear music on my land since
ALL of my neighbors still have their music but me. I've tried changing music URLs and still nothing. Can someone tell me what I can do to have my music again? Thank you. |

Question: Are you using a "radio" (some sort of scripted device) to set your URL, or doing so through the About Land pane and the Media tab?
If using a radio. Take it back into your inventory and try changing the URL manually through the About Land pane. Ensure that the URL you are using works on other lands. The music you hear on other pacels may work because it is a working URL. (No, I don't think ALL your URL's broke at the same time, but wanted to rule out every possibility.) If you use a URL that works on another parcel, and place it directly in your Media tab, without use of a scripted object, then I would say you have some sort of technical glitch on the server/sim-side. Make sure to fill out a Support Ticket and detail all things you have tried to remidy the issue. The more thigns you tell the techs you have tried, the easier it is for them to narrow it down. A last resort may be to completely uninstall SL and then reinstall it. I say this because the one update (1.17.2) was 3 days agao when you first noticed the problem. A alternative would be to wait for the next major update to DL a fresh patch, but if a corrupted DL is the problem, this may, or may not, fix the issue. Good luck ~Jessy _____________________

The protest was supposedly only a day of silence. *shrug*
Related: After mid-July, most internet radio stations will go out of business... if you're an American, you can phone a Senator and ask them to support a bill that will save 'net radio. more info: www.savenetradio.org. Please consider it, for those of us that stream radio onto our land to increase enjoyment of the game. _____________________

I have had the no music problem for the past two days, or no music most of the time. In some Sims the music will still work, in most others no. All other sound in game works. I saw the same thing. In my land in Tawa for example, I had no sound for about three days, yesterday at night it started again to function and today I logged on and nothing; more silence again. The same URLs plays just fine in external softwares like BSplayer but they are not working in SL. _____________________
