Unable to give objects to another resident

Hello,

I just made my friend start playing the game. For the first few hours I was able to teleport her around, give her freebies, and communicate with her on IM. But since then (it's been about three days now) I can't do any of that. She doesn't receive my teleport requests, when I give her anything from my inventory it automatically says she declined it even though she doesn't even get asked, and when I try to IM her she never receives my IM, it just stays at "Franco Cazalet is typing...". However, she IS able to receive my money (which might not be such a good thing for me... but that's a different story). And everything seems to work just fine when I interact with any resident besides her. What could be the problem?

Thanks in advance,
Franco

It sounds like your friend has accidentally muted you. When you are muted, your items are automatically declined. Contact your friend out-of-world and ask them to check to make sure you are not muted.

and this is frightfully easy to do too! you have to watch that line at top of chat window very carefully when using mute ... the more cacophonous the chat is at the time, the harder it is to hit 'mute' at the correct moment :(

Yep, that was the problem. She accidently ignored me. Thanks so much :-).
