Another Oddity

I have a few outfits under my clothing folder in inventory, and recently I noticed something odd. One of the outfits is beachwear, and consists of shorts, t-shirt, sandals, sunglasses, which I was wearing. I then dragged a casual outfit from my inventory onto my avi, consisting of underwear, jeans, ribbed t-shirt, watch, socks and baseball boots, and everything was OK.

However, I thought it might be cool to put on some sunglasses with this outfit, so I tried to drag the sunglasses from the beachwear folder onto my avi, and I got an error message which said, 'Cannot wear this item, an object is already pending for this location'. I tried again, about 2 hours later, and got the same message. When I relogged, i was able to drag the sunglasses no problem, and I have repeated this several times now to confirm.

Anyone any ideas on what is causing this?

Hello Rock, afraid it's just the usual thing these days, slow rezzing, lagging server etc. A quick edit appearance toggle jolts a refresh sometimes. Good days .. bad days.

What happend was probably the inventory bug that has been popping lately. Your original request to wear the item was hung up and the message popped when you tried again. it also happens soem times when you try to darg an object to the ground. Other than waiting for it to clear out, re logging is probably the best option.
