I pressed some key sequence, most likely Ctrl+Shift+____ something! And now, blue cones eminate from people, and red ones for objects...how do I fix? Thanks in advance!

Press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+U , that will turn off Show Updates

*giggles* I think this is one of those SL 'rites of passage' moments. Kinda like in the old days were we'd click on an object in our inventory and wind up with a box on our head!
So, congrats, you are now.. Umm.. well, I can't think of a title right now, drat it.
