Can I Return an Item I Bought?

I was checking out the FREE stuff at Nude Beach & I clicked on this flower lei pack that was hanging next to a FREE sign.

Well, after I clicked "buy", the little blue window popped up & said I just spent $99 instead of $1!!!!

I'm new to this game & I've never spent more than $1 on any item because I'm very picky with my lindens.

Is there any way that I could return or resell this item quickly??

I've offered friendship to the person it said I paid the $99 to, so I'm going to try to message them when they are online. This sucks so bad.

$99 is less than 50 cents in USD. The next time I am online I will send you $99.

Just ask the person you bought the item from for a refund nicely. I have accidentally bought two of an item before, and the seller had no problems with refunding me one of the purchases.

She was happy once I explained the LL to USD exchange rate to her in-world. She also thought I was generous with the L$99 I gave her until I explained that it was L$269 to the dollar.

*tries real hard to think of a good sob story that will get him to give me 99L*

I paid 100L to a Death Camp chair Wednesday morning, and should have doubled my money in two hours. But *chokes back a sob* the system went down for maintenance 20 minutes later and all I made back was 6L. *pout pout*

Some vendors will let you return stuff, some won't. I have even had situations where I told the vendor their product was crap and I wanted a refund - and got the refund, and didn't even have to give the crappy stuff back.

If it has transfer you can return it yes although for 100L i'm not sure its worth the hassle. If it was 1k lindens or 10k lindens I would be more worried.

If the item is no transfer I dont know how the merchant will react because you can ask for money back and still have the product in your inventory. So basically he is giving you a free item. Which well the price is 100L the creator probably wont worry to much either and might give it back in this second case it totally depends on life the universe and everything

I would just accept the loss of L$99 (which is about 48 cents USD). Besides if you want to look anything other that a noob in SL you'll be spending more that that on clothes, skin and hair. The freebie and $L1 stuff screams noob. Trust me...L$4000 on a skin, L$2000 for nice hair and a couple L$250 outfits are well worth it!
