Hello. A friend of mine can't seem to post to the forums here. He's been in SL almost as long as myself, which is January (maybe February) of this year. Whenever he tries to start a new thread or post he receives this notice:

you have to be a 'paid' account to get to the forums, is your friend 'payment info used?'

I think I did have to link to my paypal account before posting, however. So I think it may be "payment info on file" rather than "paid account" that is the key. |
