I don't think it was this question that closed the other thread so I shall ask it here ... for a Resident Answer ;)

What is a modelling stand and how does it differ from a posing stand?
TIA

Far from being an expert on it, my understanding is a posing stand gives you one pose, usually the one you're in during edit appearance. A modeling stand has several poses in it and you click the stand or back/forwards buttons to change them. PNP Modeling stand is a great freebie, I couldn't live without it (amongst other SL creations).

Multi Pose stand

HI Billbo,

I made a multipose stand that you can put your own poses in the contents and the stand finds them and enables you to cylce through them. I set the height above the stand kinda high for taking pics without getting the floor in the shot using a background. If you'd like me to IM you inworld (hoping SL doesnt upgrade me into going back to the sims2 hehe) lemmie know and I'll set you up with one. :-)
