They appear to have cut themselves off from the residents. They don't want to listen to us or help us, just take our money. I think it stinks.

The blogs - when comments are opened - have a 100 comment limit.

I thought the limit was 500. I've seen at least one that was over 520, or have they lowered it recently? Maybe as part of the last update. : )

Some Blog entries are simple statements and do not warrant comments, such as 'We have fired all the staff at Linden Labs'... or 'Grid is down'... others, they risk allowing comments but are suppose to be capped at 100, although, if 10 ppls all post the 100th comment at exactly the same time, it is possible they will all appear.

Why does it matter? The blog comments are even more of a bitchfest then the forums are.

They left comments open on the Open Letter post, so it's not a unilateral closing. They do seem to have decided to close comments on the "technical difficulties" posts, though -- which is perhaps just as well, since they just turned into people complaining about problems that usually had nothing to do with the technical difficulty that LL had posted.

No the open letter post had comments closed after 119..though I thought it was up to 122 at one point which means posts were deleted.
