Urgent Help Needed

I have a problem of my partners account is being closed.

We have land owned by me that she has made a contribution from other land added to it.

I also have objects that we used by both of us but owned by the other Avatar.

if this account closes what happens to all of her objects in SL are they deleted?

What will happen to the land owned by her does it go back to Linden?

What happens to groups set up by her will they close too?

Please anyone i need help.

Did your partner quit SL or did LL close their account?

Is the land deeded to a group? Or held privately?

If privately, your partner can sell the land to you cheaply. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS AND READ THE STICKY ABOUT HOW TO TRANSFER LAND BEFORE YOU DO THIS INWORLD.

Was it donated to a group? If so, then make sure you have more than one member in the group by creating a free alt. You can up your tier to increase what your partner won't be paying in the My Account section of this website (where it says Group Land on the left hand side) and donate it to the group. You will then be paying the tier your partner paid but will no longer do so. Just make sure you donate enough tier to cover the group land.

If LL closed your partner's account, although we would like to help you we can't. Only someone working for Linden Labs can help you. Please call the billing department and they can help you sort it out. You have to go through the support window on this website.

The groups of which she was Owner will stay, if there remain enough (currently 2, I think) members, but if there are any groups of which she is the *sole* owner, they'll become largely unmanageable unless she's able to name one or more successor owners.

Objects in an avatar's Inventory will be inaccessible when the account is closed, but I don't know what happens to objects rezzed in world. (I would *guess* that they stay around, just because it would seem difficult to locate and delete them.)

She is being forced to close her account. LL haven't asked her to but RL partner

Adiva, the option that you have is to have your friend and partner to transfer their things to you. Land would mean you would have to buy it/trade it so that it transfers from her to you or find another partner that you trust to take their place. You don't have a lot of options if she's left game and didn't take care of these loose ends prior to closing the account. If there's a way to email her or contact her to see if she can do this asap, that will help. Sorry that we can't be more help. It's in your friend's hands now.

You will want to get her to work with you to transfer ownership of as much as possble to you and to groups that you own, before she leaves. You'll have to up your own tier to compensate for her contribution, or find a new partner to match what she will no longer be paying for, or you WILL lose the land. When she is done transferring land ownership to you, she can safely tier down to Basic and quit playing in SL. If she does that, then any group-owned items that she leaves behind will remain group owned, and any groups that are counting on her sa a member will still be able to count her. But someone will have to match what she was paying to your shared land tier.
