What can be done to stop idiots in SL spoiling the enjoyment of other users by attacking them with scripted objects? I no longer use one of the Sandboxes because as soon as I TP into the sim I am pushed and shoved to the floor, forced into a run or fly animation and have to reboot to get out.

You can simply rez a non-physics-enabled prim and sit on it to avoid most griefer attacks in sandboxes, so long as they're not combat-enabled. You have to heavily shield yourself, otherwise. The ideal solution is to have your own land (or that of a friend), where you can control who's allowed on and what they can do. I do not recommend 'fighting back' against griefers. Abuse Report them and leave if they're bothering you beyond your threshold to tolerate. But DO always Abuse Report. _____________________

When i look for a 'sandbox' i do the places search and i goto the ones near the bottom that have 'zero' traffic
the few times i have used them they are allways empty, and no one ever came while i was building there there are tons of places to build in peace, just look around 'rez a cube' 'sit on it' you can not be harmed... _____________________
InSL u find every kind of no-life retard you could possibly imagine as well as a few even Tim Burton couldnt imagine u find 12yr-olds claiming to be 40 men claiming 2 be women, women claiming 2 make sense and every1 claiming 2 have ideas that are actually worth a damn if only someone would just listen to their unique innovative and exceptionally important idea

I try to trace the name of a griefer through any objects they might use. Then I announce what they are doing in chat (shout), including their name in block capitals.
I do this not only if they are griefing me but if they are obviously griefing other people. This method seems to work sometimes. |
