Webcam livestream on my rox tv?

Hello i have a question. i work as webcam girl in secondlife. i use yahoo msn and skype but its sometimes a little bit stressy. So i have another idea now. i do a webcam livestream on my rox tv in my skypebox room.when i am online a guy can be teleportet to my room in a skypebox to see my show in a nice beautiful room. but he have to pay 5000 l$ for a 10 minute show is it possible to go on with this vision ?

It sounds like you want to do the Video Version of what a DJ does for Audio in SL.

They use speciallized programs for the Audio - so youd need something that does similair for video.

I dont know if such is availble - I havent heard of any - but Im sure theres far more knowledgable people on these forums who would know. Good luck.

This sounds incredibly much like an ad. You could've done without your rate quote.


But to be helpful, you'd need a way to either record your video stream directly into a streaming Quicktime format and use that. Not sure if it's possible with your cam or software or, if it is, how much horsepower and upstream bandwidth it'd take.

Also, I'm guessing "skypebox room" means "private skypad?" since SL doesn't involve Skype at all?

Not to mention advertizing on the forums isnt all that effetive, its a pretty small audience.

You will have to find yourself a nice scripter and maybe pay him not sure. I have seen a live camera on the electric sheep site they are just experimenting with it though. It is linked to their sim and it films the happenings in their sim live. I have never actualy gotten it to work though. In any event it can be done I'm just not sure how well it will work.
