I bought some land last week and I'm mulling over what to do with it. Anyway I was there today and I was talking to a guy on the next parcel. I noticed that some of the land was owned by Governor Linden for maintenance and he told me that they were building a road (my land does say near road).
I was wondering if there are any maps of the planned roads or developments anywhere or do you just wait and see what happens?

If you bring up the main map in SL and you zoom in, you can see diagonal blank streaks of land spanning across many sims.... these will eventually become roads.

LL Reserves strips of land that *could* become roads... but they very often fail to build them. What would you rather have them spending time on? Building roads that few people will use, because of problems with vehicles when crossing sims, and the degree to which most SL residents prefer direct teleporting? Or fixing the hundreds of serious bugs and glitches that plague every user on the grid?
