What do you like to shape your avatar into most of the time? I have a hard time deciding. I like to call myself a shape-shifting robot since my name is Gaybot, and I can never decide what I want to be on a regular basis. These are a few of my favorite things....

I came along at a time when SL was practically 100% human avs. None of the other types were invented yet. With the exception of a few minutes on the Test Grid (as a FURRY!), Teeny has always been human.

I like to make a new avatar at least every other day. It could be anything on the list there; I just can't decide.

Im 99% of the time a human.

I did buy a drone avatar, he rocks. I wear him sometimes when i feel like setting things on fire.

Also, awhile back on a blog site I saw an advertisement for these really pricey yet rad looking robotos... Wish I could find the shop cos sometimes I feel like being one lol.

Same thing here, but inversely... Gaybot, you've violated my free speech!!! Maybe I should consider to start another one of those endless threads about this subject... :D

You mean by not letting you vote on your favorite thing in that song from The Sound Of Music? By all means, tell me that too. I like "Brown paper packages tied up with strings" as long as it's not a mail bomb.

Where's Neko? There are far too many of us to be satisfied with a generic 'Other' category. :p

He, that poll needs ticky boxes, not radio buttons :D

My avatars:
- four women (my standard one, often purple-haired; a younger, sillier version; an African woman; a cyberpunk creature who isn't quite complete yet)
- one dragon
- one child
- one man, plus a second one coming soon (I only don this one for advertisement purpose, so I don't know if it counts)
- one siren, my most recent addition.

My next one might be a Neko, or a furry. But that's one I'd like to make myself, so it will take some time. :)

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, dear. :) However, your witty reply seriously opened the door to questionable jokes from the sickest minds... Just want to make clear that I will not be responsible of weird rumors about you! :D

Neko did need a spot...though, it technically *is* human form, with ears and a tail...until you add more then it leads to furry. Do most neko consider themselves more leaning towards furry or human, seeing as they are a bit of both?

I guess usually human, but I change to so many different forms, I picked other. I have folders named Harlan I - VIII for my different forms that get used on at least a semi-regular basis. Human, tiny fox, anime (which is, admittedly, also human), furry, neko, dragon wyrmling, demon, robot. I also occasionally switch to quadruped pony (from Wynx) or one of a couple other robots.

Should superhero be listed separately? Most of them from comics are human, if perhaps mutated. The rest are typically aliens. Same with Jedi/Sith. An "Alien" choice would be better as it would cover those and also Star Trek and various other alien avs I've seen. What about Gors? Aren't they also human just with different clothes/culture? Does a human av wearing non-typical clothes count as a separate type of av? If so, I switch forms a lot more than I thought. :p Sorry for getting pedantic. :)

As to the neko/human question, when I'm in neko form, I guess I think of it as more human with some animal features. But also in a way, I kind of think of it as a separate thing altogether.

For a long while I was human more often than neko, but for the past few months, I find myself changing into neko form more often than human (I've also noticed a trend that I tend to be neko in any game that allows it :p). The other form I'm most often in is a tiny white bunny. Not nearly as often, I have been seen as a drow, demoness/succubus, goth, anime, hatchling wyrm, furry (kitty, of course), tiny pony, tiny kitty, and probably some others I can't think of right now.

As far as if I consider my neko form human or furry...I've never really given it much thought, but I think I'd consider it a hybrid of the two. Although, I do have a lovely neko skin from Boneflower, so I suppose that makes me more of a furry, due to the "fur" texture on it. ;)

I won't speak for everyone, but for me, it depends which skin I'm wearing. Human skin (which is most of the time) = more human. Leopard skin = more furryish. I say 'ish' because I always have human facial features, and true furries generally don't. :)

How about, Grandma had some fun with a werecat? lol
