Copied from Linden Answers for those that may not see it there, and sorry not a question.
I have an item that was set to Mod, Copy, No Transfer when I purchased it.
This has now changed to No Mod, Copy, No Transfer while wearing it.
If I drop it on the ground then take it back into my inventory, it becomes No Mod, No Copy, Transfer
Problem is, I can do this unlimited times, as the original item is copiable.
I have contacted the creator, also bug reported it. But others may wish to know this issue is out there.
