First day I entered SL I thought to myself, "Wow! This is the perfect thing for freeform RP!" Alas, almost four years later and I've yet to find an RP group that isn't some form of disheartening. Any RPer knows what I'm talking about; cliques, ridiculous rules, horrible design, drama-riddled admins... the list goes on. I don't expect to find "the perfect place" but I'd at least like to have that singular character interaction.
My question by now should be obvious and I'm all ears to any suggestions and ready to prove my skill as an online RPer. Is it possible the GOOD RP groups are hidden? Why yes, that would make so much sense... If you'd prefer to IM me your suggestion or invitation, please do!
As far as genre goes, at this point I am not going to be picky... except for Gorean themes... please none of that. XD;

This topic comes up in here a LOT. In addition to replies you receive here, you might want to use search and find older topics on the same theme.
Try Karamoon if you haven't yet, for RP.

Thanks. I didn't think to use search on the forums... As you can see I've not used these forums hardly at all.

I have already known a few good RP groups. Trouble is, they were bland and people just drifted away. Role-players are often actors at heart and do like the dramatic and theatrics.
Oh and a veteran of RP has a fairly large group going based on the Avatar movie, search for "Na'vi of Second Life" in Groups.
