So, I watched Indiana Jones the other night. The third one. The Last Crusade.

Towards the end there's a scene with an invisible bridge. The only way to cross it is to take a leap of faith and just blindly step out on to it and hope not to die.

I was watching that scene, and I realized that it seems oddly familiar, where have I felt that before?

Teleports in Second Life. That's where I've felt that feeling of "oh god will this work?!" before.

Yonks ago Teleports were really leaps of faith. And it seemed more hit and miss where you landed. I used to get a pile of people TP into my house in Mimas and I loved it when they would visit.

I always told people that invisiprims were invented by Indiana Jones, but nobody ever believed me. :(
