This is a really bizarre glitch in SL. There is a parcel next to my home on the mainland that is for sale. The owner has chosen to erect obnoxious prim walls in a blatant bid to disgust the neighboring owners into buying the parcel just to remove them. Take a look here. The problem is that somehow those textures get "stuck" onto my av. This isn't a client issue, as others can see them also. A relog and cache cleaning usually fixes the problem, only to reappear when I relog to Home. I can't even see these walls when I tp in, they aren't in my line of sight. Barney on my bewb!Burger King!It alternates between sticking on my shirt, or appearing as shorts. And I don't wear pants so it's sticking to my attachments. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

wow ..
Never seen this. Can you look in your prims and see if somehow the textures are in contents?
Im making wild guesses =/
You could edit the prims and see if they are set to those textures or some other texture and this is just some glitch.

I'd be curious to see if these textures as you call them survive a teleport out of the sim - If they don't, it's very possible or even quite likely that they are just scripted prims designed to follow your avatar around.

This has happened to me quite often, particularly right after TPing to someplace.
This bug has been around for quite a while. I think it came around the same time the white missing image bug started.
The bug consists of your avatar picking up random textures from the area around it (mine even sometimes gets my inventory box showing on it).
When this happens use Client->Character->Rebake Textures to reset your avatars textures.

The ones on my legs are stuck on the prims and it doesn't show up in edit textures. Also, when I jump into appearance it goes away, only to come right back when I get out of appearance.

Maybe some kind of alpha sorting issue?

Us Mac users would love to Burger King on our bewbs that would be Minor! I get every texture in my inventory, and ones from whatever is on the screen flashing like MAD all over my head, shoes, things I wear, and walls ITs absolutely insanely out of control. In fact its so bad I can barely use SL and no one has a solution. read the MAc Forums theres alot of good ideas but non actually FIX the issue

What is your outfit composite limit on the preferences advance graphics tab set to?
You might try changing the setting of the avatar vertex program on the graphics detail tab.

cpould it be your graphics card? When I first joined Sl I had a 64mb graphics card and I had that problem a LOT! I finally upgraded to a 256mb one and I'm fine now!
