Trying for shift control R, not sure how I mishit, but am now getting a steady info stream lower left:

INFO: display_status.....
INFO: LLAssetStorage...
INFO: LLTransferMKanager...
INFO: AppViewer

etc etc, stuff about frame rate, creating dummy widgets, killing this or that.

Relog doesn't restore default, anyone know whick keys I hit, or what to look for under debug?

Looks like you hit ctrl+shift+4 (debug console). Hit those again to make it go away.
