I need to buy an item that is no copy (which I dont want to do but I kinda have no choice) is the grid behaving today? I wanted to buy it before the weekend.

Anyone lost anything in say the last 12 hours?

I know the competition that will come along someday is learning from LL's mistakes. But do they have to make so many?

after my dog incident, i haven't even dared try.

try something insignificant from your sim. i have a free handstand at my store, go get and and see wut happens. it's an animation, not an object, so that may not be helpful... *shrugs*

I have not lost a no copy object rezzed or returned to inventory on my own land in about a week.

Its been running okay for me today. Try Iming the creator/seller and asking them if they will cover a replace of the item if something does happen to it when you try to rezz it, most I have dealt with would.

dont try right now, game is having issues for some, not all. But why take the risk if you have to ask. Wait till all is smooth.

Things are certainly a bit ropey right now. I think it's like Beetlejuice, make that comment three times and it will be borked.

Tp to the store and watch the statistics bar for a moment (pending uploads/downloads that don't jump back to 0 every time is a bad sign), then pick a random attachment you haven't worn and attach it (if it fails, the sim's connection to the asset server isn't all that) at which point you can just buy (if it's a networked vendor you're taking a chance that inter-sim communication is working properly though, not really a way to test that).

Tp back to your own land, rez something random that's copy (and isn't already rezzed) and see if it rezzes fine and timely, then take/delete it and note that it vanishes timely (and appears back in your inventory) and it should be safe to rez.

At that point about the only thing that can still go wrong is for the sim to crash in the next hour, which would cause a rollback.

Good luck :).
