Hey, this is going to sound like a VERY weird question but the way I see it... Best to ask and get a no, then not ask and not know, so here it is:
I was wondering if there was any way to make it so that you can fit a scenery (say a small forest - no pun intended) in a little box, say inside your house... then when you click on it you go 'inside' of it. I was wondering this because I wanted to make my own little get away inside my house... Can I do this? or do I need to actually BUY a small SIM and use the box as a teleporter??? thanks for any help ahead of time,
Eiji Mayo
P.S. Sorry if this is the wrong section... only posted on here a few times.

There are virtual rooms and things like Paradise Blankets that you can buy...they temporarily rez various locales which disappear as soon as you leave. You do need to have about 200 free prims for the blanket to function, but I think it's probably fewer for the rooms. http://www.slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&MerchantID=968http://www.slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=70740

Thank you everyone for your replies. My original post is similer to poopmaster Oh's question... Is there actually a way to take a small box that could fit ON your couch, and make it so when you touch it, YOU rescale to match the size of the interier? I think that is what you are looking for, similerly, poopmaster oh.

From: poopmaster Oh i want a house that loooks tiny on the outside but when you go inside its much much bigger... anyway to do that? You need to become a Timelord and get your own Tardis. Or, hitch a ride with Dr. Who and then you can go inside *his* Tardis. (if you're not British, none of that will make sense! )

americans know about dr who as well and I want a tardis! I do not think it is possible to do as you describe (the shrink yourself to fit into a small area) or have a large area inside a small space. you can however have a space up in the air, with a tp from the box to the area up in the sky

I started something like this eons ago it was a garden with waterfall and everything and a funny looking goofy statue. I was going to make an entier series of em maybe I should go back and finish what i started. I got sidetracked by a need for clothing I liked but the first things I did in SL where to build modular type self contained environments like this and script games.
Maybe when my brain runs out of ideas for what I am presently doing I will go back and finish my modular ecosystem series
I have wayy to many ideas and simply not enough time...
Dunno I still find sl to be the best thing since sliced bread once i get past the angst of things like content theft and lag and bugs and viewer issues. right now sl is behaving very well for me in most respects
