I cannot get it off my 16,384sq meter land and it seems to span about 4 sims. I sent off an abuse report but other than that, what can be done?
Its located in the sky about 210 meters above KOOTENYAY sim.
Thanks.

Hmm.. darn it, it may be too late, but during business hours you could use the Live Chat and see if a Linden would come and take care of it.

The size restrictions for new objects used to be done client side.
"Notorious griefer" Plastic Duck, aka Gene Replacement, used this oversight to allow him to create some oversized objects.
I wish he'd made a better selection of sizes.
It's possible the owner of the land the center of the prim is over might be able to return it.

Perhaps that's the prim where the new WindLight sky will be projected on, as soon as it goes live

One of these sky blockers can be a real nuisance. I rezzed one on our private sim, and was quite dismayed when I tried to delete it and THE DAMN THING WOULDNT GO! Even stayed there after rebooting the sim. Had to do a mass return of all my personal items to finally get rid of the thing. What a drag!

The only reason I would ever rez such a thing would be to make sure it shows on the map with a sign that says, "I CAN'T PAY MY BILL!"...but, I wouldn't do that.

I've seen the whole-sim chequerboards - someone rezzed one in Goguen sandbox while I was there the other day. Horrible and should be banned.

It's not one of my store signs again is it Are there restrictions on the size of sculpties? I'm sure I read that you can build large sculpties.

From: Conifer Dada someone rezzed one in Goguen sandbox while I was there the other day. Horrible and should be banned. I certainly hope you mean the person who rezzed the object outside the sandbox and placed it over parcels he/she didn't own should be banned, and not huge prims themselves, or rezzing them in sandboxes. Sandboxes are for rezzing objects that may be an eyesore elsewhere. I personally find huge prims very useful; I really hate it when people advocate banning them. Just say you want to ban irresponsible usage. If you contact the owner of the mega-prim over your parcel, and he's not able or willing to delete it, ask him to at least make it phantom and (if not completely then) mostly transparent.

Sculpties have the same effective size limits as regular procedural primitives. From: Ciaran Laval Are there restrictions on the size of sculpties? I'm sure I read that you can build large sculpties.

Did you try sending a Support Ticket? This sounds like something even the Lindens would do something about.
I doubt anyone but the robot answer computer sees Abuse Reports any more.

Thank you all for your replies, even humorous at times, which is good at the moment. I have sent a Linden a trouble ticket. I do not report many things, maybe once every 3 months, this includes goo. This one is frustrating. It really is like something out of "independence day". Every time I try to approach the end of the prim it disappears. At one moment, I thought it actually was gone...nope. In any case, its hard not to see it as my building is close to it. All I see in my sky is a checkerboard and it almost can make ya a bit nauseous if you stare at it. If any of you want to swing by, I'll be here and be glad to show ya this horrible distraction. I wouldn't mind meeting a few of ya either. Click the large red/black circle in KOOTENAY. I would tell ya to click the text, but it seems SL shaded it out. Xplorer
