certain pose balls are causing problems

OK, this is odd...maybe someone can shed some light on this.

Some of my pose ball sets cause me to fly off into space when I stand up from them...and some don't.

For instance:
Bits and Bobs Couple set 9 and 10 are fine.
so are some deviant ones I tried.

My Timeless Prototype rezzing campfire works fine also.
Bits and Bobs Ballroom dance poses work also.

But my Bits and Bobs Devotion sends me flying off into space.

As well as some other poses.

My property is near the sim border so I can fly off the edge of the sim as I'm shooting into space , and then I'm fine. I can fly back into my yard and everything is normal ...unitl I try a pose ball.

Any body have any insight?
It sounds to me like certain scripts are not functioning properly.

Could be your AO.

I've also heard that sometimes there's an issue with the pose ball mesh and your avatar mesh reacting badly to each other...supposedly adjusting the angle of the pose balls somewhat will help.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Also make sure the poseballs aren't too close to walls/other furniture/etc.

update:

my AO is shut off,

I spent last night helping my neighbors get down from their ceilings..haha

I told them to grab a pose ball and sit. Then, if they wanted to be normal again, stand up from the poseball (which would send them flying up into space), start to fly, and work their way over the SIM border which was nearby.
If they did that, they would return to normal until the next time they tried sitting on a pose ball.

Certain pose balls would shoot you off at either faster or slower speeds and some worked fine.

my timeless prototype campfire (auto rezzes logs to sit on) seemd to work fine, but would send the avatar into a false sitting position.

dancing animations from Bits and Bobs still worked great.

very strange evening

btw, I popped into SL this morning before work and its still doing it

If you can, try making your furniture with the balls phantom, I have been told that stops the problem.

This isn't just exiting a pose ball and flying 15-20 feet, this is rapid acceleration up into the sky without any way to stop except to hit ctrl/shift/h to go home...and then when I do that and rez in my house, I'm stuck to the ceiling because my roof is keeping me from flying off again.
:-)

This problem just started yesterday on poseballs that have been working fine for the past two weeks.

neighbors are experiencing the same problems. (floating off into space)

maybe its time for a sim restart
