The Case of the Dangling Titles

About 1 month ago I placed kiss poseballs out, when I came back to the area where the poseballs had been placed I found they had disappeared but the titles remained. I have checked my inventory, the poseballs have not returned to lost and found and a search of my inventory has proved in vain. I cannot remove the titles. I have gone the route of View, Highlight Transparent and the missing poseballs do not appear. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you remove the dang titles. I mean it's kind of like empty promises isn't it :)

It is possible they are using the invisiprim texture, which would not show up on highlight transparent. Do a drag select to try and select them (you probably tried relogging already i assert).

Try saying "show" or "/1 show" and see if they appear.

Well I have followed both suggestions and those imposing words are still there. I could take down my skybox and I am sure those words would be there floating in the air enticing flybys into their web of empty seduction. I'll just use snopak on my screen

Try doing a control-alt-T and look to see if you see the balls there, just hidden from view, before you take down your skybox. I think this is what Strife was getting at.

also, tell us about the lag in your sim. Could it be that they are there but just haven't rezzed? the floating text is the result of a script in the poseballs. It becomes a property of the ball and goes when the ball is removed. If you still see the text, then the ball must be there, either unrezzed or invisible...... or the script that generates the text is now residing in the floor (not likely since you would have to have pulled it from the ball object and inserted it into the floor object)

You might also try taking your camera and sliding it outside your skybox... underneath it slightly. Sometimes objects shift position in SL without being moved. It's kind of strange but it happens. Could the ball/s have shifted underneath your floor so that the text is visible but it or they are not?

OMG Snatuzis!!! You were right.... I took the camera and went under the skybox at first seeing nothing and then I guess I got into the core of the build and there were the poseballs!!!!!!!! You are a genius!!! I thank you so much for helping to clear that problem :) A big thank you also to Strife and Ravanne for trying to help, I love ya :)
