Okay I just got a house and I am trying to decorate.. I am just wondering, can I or how do I check each object to see how many prims it has before I put it down... If I can't no biggie, just wondering. Thanks

If a "More >>>" button is visible, click on that, and then on the "General" tab. Underneath the list of information about the object, you'll see a message telling you how many primitives it is. If the parcel doesn't have enough primitives free to rez the object, you'll be warned when you try and the object will not rez, but it will stay in your inventory.

Small objects, like furniture, are usually safe to rezz even if you're not quite sure how many prims they have.
But I recommend opening other objects -- such as houses or vaguely titled freebies -- in a sandbox. I've been blown off my land on more than one occasion by accidentally opening an object that turned out to be MUCH larger than I expected. LOL!

If you're at a shop and you can see the object rezzed in the showroom, you can right click->Edit and see how many prims it is before you buy it. If it's something in a box of freebies, you can't tell unless you rez it. Sometimes the creator will include a notecard or post a sign saying how many prims something is.

Now there's a possible 'want' to put on the wishlist now the client's open source; have object's prim count in properties which can be selected from inventory?
